Japanese authorities insist there is little to no chance of radiation harming people or the environment in spite of the major damages to the country's nuclear plants. Japan also continues its search and rescue for any survivors among water and debri of what used to be home to thousands. 550,000 people are currently being housed in shelters. Also, Japan, the most industrialized nation in Asia, faces economic downturns amidst the devastation. If that wasn't enough snow is also set to hit northeastern areas of the country which was hit the hardest by the tsunami.
